Masheed Gate

2022 — 2023 · Flutter Engineer — built at 525K for Masheed

Masheed Gate is Masheed's own B2B e-commerce platform for building materials — a modern retail-style shopping experience, but exclusively for Masheed's catalog. Buyers browse products, place bulk orders, and reorder past orders in one tap. Built as a client project during my time at 525K. The iOS app remains live; the Android version has since been retired.

The Challenge

Bring a wholesale building-materials business into a consumer-grade shopping experience: full catalog browsing (with and without an account), bulk ordering with minimum-order-quantity rules, and order tracking — polished enough to feel like a modern retail app, strict enough for B2B commerce.

Results

  • Live on the App Store with a 5.0 rating from verified buyers.
  • Version 2.0 shipped a full redesign, modernizing the entire shopping experience.
  • Sustained releases across years of operation for Masheed's B2B customers.

The Approach

  1. 01Built the Flutter storefront with catalog browsing, product detail, cart, and checkout flows in Arabic and English.
  2. 02Implemented B2B ordering rules — minimum order quantities, order history, and one-tap reorder of previous orders.
  3. 03Opened the catalog to guest browsing so buyers could evaluate products before creating an account.
  4. 04Contributed through the 2.0 era — a complete facelift of the app's UI and experience.
